Coming events
The Yr 11 and 12 dinner is back, at Marist College Ashgrove and organized by Lucia del Vecchio. Lucia writes:
The LTQ French Teachers’ Branch, in association with Marist College, Ashgrove is again pleased to invite you to the reprised annual Senior French Dinner on Tuesday 18th March 2025. Students will be welcomed from 6.30pm for dinner at 7.00pm. The evening will conclude at 9.00pm. The meal will be cooked and served by the students of the Marist Hospitality Department in our newly refurbished Cyprian Centre.
Traditionally this has been a fun evening and a great way to kick off the year’s social calendar for Senior French Students in and around Brisbane.
The cost of the event is $65.00 per student and this includes finger foods on arrival with mocktails, choice of 3 mains (chicken, beef and vegetarian), and dessert. The kitchen also offers a GF option. We regret that more specific dietary requirements cannot be catered for. Dietary details must be included on the booking form attached to avoid disappointment on the night.
Students will also participate in before and after dinner activities including a quiz where prizes will be awarded for the winning table. Places are strictly limited to 100, and are available on a first come first served basis with confirmed numbers so please book early to avoid disappointment. Please advise students that the dress code is smart-casual.
