About Us

The Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland Inc. (MLTAQ) is the peak professional body representing teachers of Languages other than English throughout the State. The MLTAQ provides a common voice for Language educators in all sectors in Queensland on state and national issues. The MLTAQ aims to facilitate communication and cooperation between Language educators and to promote study, criticism, research and instruction in the field of language pedagogy, teaching methodology and linguistics

The MLTAQ Inc. is an incorporated association. You may read the Constitution and Working Rules.

Funding is available to members for language related projects. Full details and application forms are available for download here. Applicants who are serviced by our affiliated branches should apply though their Branch Executive. Contact details for branches are available below.
